Peru

The next morning I went back to Machu Picchu by myself while the rest of the group wandered around Aguas Caliente. I was on the first bus up the mountain and spent a long time on the promontory in the sun and cool air overlooking the essentially deserted town. Alpacas and llamas were standing here and there, making it a memorable sight. I thoroughly enjoyed my solitary morning.
